Netlab Home


Established in 1991, NETLAB, the largest network research group in Turkey, has successfully merged the experience and energy of faculty members at all levels to create the synergy required to enhance network research in Turkey. NETLAB's purpose is conducting research on high speed computer communications, computer networks, operating systems, parallel and distributed computing systems, wireless/mobile/satellite networks. Currently, 8 fulltime, 2 part-time faculty members, 6 research assistants, 37 MS and 21 PhD students who work at the industry and 35 undergraduate students are associated with the NETLAB.

NETLAB is mainly funded by the Bogaziçi University Research Fund, State Planning Organization (DPT) and the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK).
