    • Design and development of several common software modules (mostly in Java) used by other modules.
    • Responsible for the development and deployment of the infrastructure for building java and c codes using Jakarta Ant.
    • Given support to IT, deployment and development groups on Sun Cluster, MySQL, Solaris and Unix in general.
    • Given consultation on computer and network security in general.
    • Responsible for initial installation and deployment of in-house Oracle 10g DBMS (also for addressing some code portability issues)

    • Design and development of an MPI based parallel application that calculates the PageRankTM vector of a given web graph.

    • Responsible for the setup, maintenance and administration of a 29-node Linux PC Cluster system which is currently being used to develop parallel and scientific applications in the Department of Computer Engineering, Boğaziçi University. This project is supported by The Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK).
